A Tale of Two Journeys
Starting this very summer, we change gears a bit—I've spent the better part of the year planning, hustling, working on the publishing imprint that has now been unveiled as Say Again Press.
Zero to One
A lot of that work is starting to pay off, in that you can actually see what we've been up to, as we've released the first of our books, from the Say Again Essentials series on Leadership. We're already getting our first reactions and feedback, which is fantastic.

And...that's right, the second piece of the puzzle was the wonderful partnership with Bloomsbury India, who ensures that our books will reach you via bookstores across the country and the world!
We also have the wonderful folks at stck.me helping to get the books to global markets, especially, and the print on demand option means this will be sustainable, eco-friendly (and not wasteful). For the moment, our e-books are up on there, so do check them out if you'd like to...and if you'd like to support this indie imprint #startuplife

And so it begins! I'm so excited about the 0-1 but also full of nerves and energy, and can't wait for you to see what we have planned for you.
Why would anyone bet on books in this age of AI? It’s ok if you’re thinking it, because we’ve already got this question. A lot. The fact of the matter is, when you’re taking a bet on books, you’re taking a bet on story-telling. A bet on human beings. A bet on curiosity.
Quite simply, Say Again Press is an attempt to bring readers compelling books in this age of short attention spans. We believe that there is very much an audience for human-created content and for well-curated experiences.
Our design head, Devangana is also working on our catalogue (woohoo!) which is WIP...but if you want to see some of our wonderful writers you could do worse than stopping by our instagram page (@sayagainpress). In fact do head on over there to give us a follow and keep track of all that's cooking.
Happy to share more than a sneak peek if you're interested in what we have at hand—here's a press note for each title so that some of you can help us strategise on that good ol' earned media...

Suggestions & Support
Now before I move to the Health Collective news and views, a suggestion I got has hit home. I will be working to make our newsletters a bit more tailored – so less summaries and more strategic updates. We also have to segregate out our audiences... so there goes my convenient 'hold-all' and here begins the next phase.
Let me know if you've pulled this off before and managed to retain your own authenticity?
What are your thoughts?
Lots to share on the lessons learned from building, unbuilding, starting, failing, re-starting and pivoting, and of course that's one track we will take. Long reads, leadership newsletters continue for Tap in Tribe, Say Again Press kicks off on substack as well, and the mental health advocacy continues. 👏
In fact you can check out a piece based on the conversation with Dr Prabha Chandra and Dr Amit Malik at The Hindu Huddle in Bengaluru here.

- You can use buymeacoffee to support the work for the podcast, imprint, newsletter, production
- You can order the books from your indie bookstores, stck.me/ amazon and leave a review
- You can help us organise our talks, events and workshops. Did I mention bootstrapped?
10 Years Later

Believe it or not, we turn 10 this month (just the other day, in fact!). And we are celebrating by paying tribute to our contributors, our tribe. We are showcasing the 'best of'– relying on a variety of feedback including some of you! (If you want to share a favourite story or video with us do hit reply / DM The Health Collective to join our 10 years, 10 stories mini-series!)
The fact is that I still can't believe what we've been able to do, completely boot-strapped and minus advertising.
I was recently on a podcast talking about this and much more, so do have a listen if you like! And share your feedback with me :)
In the Hot Seat: Talking Mental Health, Books, Say Again Press
I'm usually much more comfortable asking the questions, though, this ended up being fun. Thank you, Safi and team for that wide-ranging convo - from my first book Broken News to life beyond the newsroom and much more, including a deep-dive on the mental health work.
So now I've been called a 'serial author'; I think it's more than time to expand the platform and enable other voices!
A bientôt
I'm keeping this short and snappy because some of you are on summer vacation (yay!) – have a fab one.
Psst if you're doing the buy me a coffee or upgrading your subscription do reply; there are some special give-aways I'd love to send your way. Some international packages have gone as far afield as Mexico (!) and closer home to Singapore.

We had to change up the account so starting from scratch again. Did someone say 0-1? 😳
